Improv Practices in Mathematics Active Teaching

This article explores the parallels between improvisational theater, commonly known as improv, and active teaching. Specifically, it focuses in impact of improv techniques on instructor teaching assistant professional development. The implementation an seminar is analyzed, where were used developing quality assistants mathematics department at University California, Santa Cruz.
